Ce système d'information assure la production de données conjoncturelles (les statistiques mensuelles de créations d'entreprises) et de données annuelles ou structurelles sur la démographie d'entreprises, tels que les stocks d'unités légales ou d'établissements.\nLe dispositif SIDE est alimenté principalement à partir de données issues du répertoire Sirene, enrichies d’éléments provenant notamment du répertoire statistique Sirus.\n\nLe dispositif SIDE remplace l’ancien dispositif REE (Répertoire des Entreprises et des Établissements).  \nLa mise en œuvre du nouveau dispositif s’est traduite par un élargissement du champ des unités légales et des établissements pris en compte, pour une meilleure couverture du champ des statistiques d’entreprises. \nAfin de garantir la cohérence temporelle des séries, l’ensemble des créations d’entreprises et d’établissements a été recalculé rétrospectivement avec le nouveau dispositif, en remontant jusqu’à 2012 (jusqu'à 2022).\nLes stocks d’unités légales et d’établissements « économiquement actifs » ont été produits avec le dispositif SIDE sur la période 2014-2022.\nLes transferts d'établissement sont produits avec SIDE sur la période 2022-2025.\n\n\nLe Produit Sur Mesure (PSM) permet d'obtenir des tableaux à façon construits à la demande à partir de fichiers détail de l'Insee qui ne figurent pas dans le catalogue de Progedo.\nLes tableaux se présentent sous la forme de fichiers dont les colonnes correspondent aux variables retenues et les lignes aux différentes combinaisons de modalités de ces variables. Il existe une dernière colonne qui contient le \"résultat\", soit le nombre d'observations du fichier original qui satisfont à chacune des combinaisons de modalités. Tables are supplied as files in which columns correspond to the selected variables and rows to the different combinations of variable categories. A final “result” column gives the number of observations in the original file satisfying each combination of categories. In other words, each row corresponds to a cell in a table crossing all selected variables, and the final column gives its value.
